Background of the study:
Affiliate marketing has emerged as a potent revenue-generating strategy, particularly for consumer-focused industries such as beauty and personal care. In Lagos, beauty product lines are increasingly leveraging affiliate marketing to extend their market reach and drive sales. This study investigates the role of affiliate marketing in revenue growth by examining partnerships with influencers, bloggers, and digital platforms (Chukwu, 2023). By utilizing performance-based compensation models, companies are able to incentivize affiliates to generate quality leads and convert them into paying customers. The research delves into the mechanisms of affiliate marketing, including tracking systems, commission structures, and performance metrics, to understand how they contribute to increased sales and market penetration (Adewale, 2024). Furthermore, the study highlights the challenges in affiliate management such as fraud prevention, partner selection, and balancing marketing budgets. Statement of the problem:
Beauty product lines in Lagos face stiff competition and fluctuating market dynamics, making it challenging to achieve consistent revenue growth. Despite the adoption of affiliate marketing, there is limited evidence on its direct impact on sales performance and overall revenue. Companies struggle with issues related to affiliate fraud, ineffective tracking, and suboptimal commission models, which hinder the full potential of affiliate programs (Chukwu, 2023). This study seeks to address these gaps by evaluating the effectiveness of affiliate marketing in driving revenue growth and identifying the obstacles that impede its success. The research aims to provide actionable insights into optimizing affiliate strategies for improved revenue generation (Adewale, 2024).

Significance of the study:
This study is significant as it provides critical insights into the role of affiliate marketing in driving revenue growth. The findings will help beauty product companies in Lagos optimize their affiliate strategies, resulting in improved sales performance and market competitiveness (Chukwu, 2023; Balogun, 2023).

Scope and limitations of the study:
This study is limited to analyzing affiliate marketing strategies for a beauty product line in Lagos, Nigeria, and does not extend to other product categories or regions.
