ABSTRACT: This study examines the role of early childhood education in promoting eco-friendly products among young children. Teaching children about eco-friendly products early can foster sustainable consumption behaviors. Objectives included evaluating children's understanding of eco-friendly products, identifying effective educational practices, and assessing the long-term benefits of early eco-friendly education. A survey design was utilized for its effectiveness in gathering comprehensive data. Purposive sampling was employed to select 180 children from preschools in Nasarawa State, Nigeria. Findings revealed that children exposed to eco-friendly product education demonstrated better understanding and preference for eco-friendly products. Activities such as interactive lessons on eco-friendly products, hands-on projects, and community initiatives were particularly effective. The study recommended integrating eco-friendly product education into early childhood curricula to promote sustainable consumption behaviors from an early age.
