ABSTRACT: This research explores the benefits of early childhood education in fostering clean air initiatives among young children. Teaching clean air practices early can lead to lifelong healthy habits. Objectives were to assess children's understanding of clean air initiatives, identify effective educational practices, and evaluate the long-term impacts of early clean air education. A survey design was chosen for its ability to gather comprehensive data. Purposive sampling was used to select 200 children from preschools in Kano State, Nigeria. Findings indicated that children exposed to clean air education demonstrated better understanding and participation in clean air practices. Activities such as interactive lessons on air quality, hands-on experiments, and community clean air projects were particularly effective. The study recommended integrating clean air education into early childhood programs to foster healthy air quality habits from an early age.
