ABSTRACT: This research examines the role of early childhood education in developing global perspectives among young children. Objectives include evaluating children's understanding of global perspectives, identifying effective educational practices, and assessing the long-term benefits of early global education. A survey design was chosen for its ability to gather comprehensive data. Purposive sampling was used to select 200 children from preschools in Cross River State, Nigeria. Findings indicated that children exposed to global education demonstrated a better understanding of global issues and perspectives. Effective practices included interactive lessons on different cultures, global awareness projects, and discussions on international cooperation. The study recommended integrating global perspectives education into early childhood curricula to enhance global awareness from an early age.
