ABSTRACT: This study investigates the role of early childhood education in fostering inclusivity among young children. Objectives include assessing children's understanding of inclusivity, identifying effective educational practices, and evaluating the long-term benefits of early inclusivity education. A survey design was employed due to its effectiveness in collecting broad data. Purposive sampling was used to select 180 children from preschools in Plateau State, Nigeria. Findings showed that children exposed to inclusivity education demonstrated a greater sense of inclusion and acceptance of others. Activities such as inclusive play, discussions on embracing differences, and collaborative group projects were particularly effective. The study recommended integrating inclusivity education into early childhood programs to foster a sense of inclusion from an early age.
