ABSTRACT: This research explored the impact of early childhood education on understanding global issues among young children. Objectives included assessing children's awareness of global issues, identifying effective educational practices, and evaluating the long-term benefits of global education. A survey design was employed due to its ability to gather comprehensive data from diverse respondents. Purposive sampling was used to select 220 children from preschools in Imo State, Nigeria. Findings revealed that children who received education on global issues demonstrated better understanding and awareness of global challenges, with activities like interactive lessons on current events, global issue projects, and discussions on international cooperation being particularly effective. The study recommended integrating global issue education into early childhood programs to foster global awareness from an early age.
