ABSTRACT: This research explored the benefits of early childhood education in fostering a growth mindset among young learners. The objectives included evaluating the presence of a growth mindset in children attending early education programs, identifying teaching strategies that promote a growth mindset, and analyzing the impact of a growth mindset on future academic and personal development. A survey design was chosen for its ability to capture a wide range of data from different participants. A sample size of 200 children from preschools in Enugu State, Nigeria, was selected through purposive sampling to ensure participation from children enrolled in structured educational settings. The findings demonstrated that early childhood education positively influenced the development of a growth mindset, with practices such as positive reinforcement, encouragement of effort, and resilience-building activities being most effective. It was recommended that early childhood education programs incorporate these practices consistently to nurture a growth mindset from an early age.
