ABSTRACT: Early childhood education (ECE) plays a vital role in promoting integrity among young children, which is essential for their moral and social development. This study investigates how ECE programs contribute to the development of integrity in early childhood. The objectives are to (1) assess the integrity of children attending ECE programs, (2) evaluate the impact of integrity-promoting activities in ECE settings, and (3) compare the integrity levels of children who attend ECE programs with those who do not. A survey design was chosen to collect quantitative data on integrity and qualitative insights from teachers and parents. A purposive sample of 140 children from preschools in Ondo State was selected. The case study focuses on preschools known for their integrity-promoting initiatives. Findings indicated that children attending ECE programs exhibited higher levels of integrity compared to those not in such programs. Integrity-promoting activities were highly effective. Recommendations include integrating structured integrity activities into ECE curricula and training educators to foster integrity among young children.
