ABSTRACT: This study explores the impact of early childhood education (ECE) on parental involvement in children's education, emphasizing the importance of collaborative partnerships between educators and parents. The objectives are to (1) assess the level of parental involvement in ECE activities and decision-making processes, (2) evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies between educators and parents, and (3) examine changes in parental attitudes towards ECE participation. A survey design is justified as it allows for the collection of data on parental involvement levels and perceptions. A purposive sample of 150 parents with children  from preschools in Rivers State was selected. The case study focuses on preschools known for their strong parental engagement initiatives. Findings indicated increased parental involvement in ECE activities, effective communication between educators and parents, and positive parental attitudes towards collaborative partnerships in children's education. Recommendations include fostering a supportive environment for parental involvement in ECE, enhancing communication channels between educators and parents, and providing resources to empower parents in supporting their children's learning journey.
