ABSTRACT: The influence of early childhood education on scientific inquiry is essential for understanding how early educational experiences foster curiosity and a scientific mindset in children. This study examines how early childhood education programs influence the development of scientific inquiry skills. The objectives are to (1) assess improvements in children's ability to ask questions and seek answers, (2) evaluate the integration of scientific inquiry activities in early childhood education curricula, and (3) examine changes in children's curiosity and interest in science. A survey design is justified as it enables comprehensive data collection on the influence of early childhood education on scientific inquiry. A purposive sample of 110 children  from preschools in Kano State was used. The case study focuses on a preschool known for its scientific inquiry program. Findings indicated significant improvements in children's ability to ask questions and seek answers, the effectiveness of scientific inquiry activities, and positive changes in children's curiosity and interest in science. Recommendations included integrating scientific inquiry activities into early childhood curricula and providing ongoing professional development for educators to support children's scientific inquiry development.
