ABSTRACT: The benefits of early childhood education on community involvement are essential for understanding how early educational experiences foster a sense of community and civic engagement in children. This study explores how early childhood education programs influence the development of community involvement in young children. The objectives are to (1) assess improvements in children's participation in community activities, (2) evaluate the integration of community involvement activities in early childhood education curricula, and (3) examine changes in children's sense of belonging and civic responsibility. A survey design is justified as it enables comprehensive data collection on the benefits of early childhood education on community involvement. A purposive sample of 130 children from preschools in Bayelsa State was used. The case study focuses on a preschool known for its community involvement program. Findings indicated significant improvements in children's participation in community activities, the effectiveness of community involvement activities, and positive changes in children's sense of belonging and civic responsibility. Recommendations included integrating community involvement activities into early childhood curricula and providing ongoing professional development for educators to support children's community involvement development.
