ABSTRACT: The role of early childhood education in conflict resolution is crucial for understanding how early educational experiences shape children's ability to manage and resolve conflicts. This study examines how early childhood education programs influence the development of conflict resolution skills in young children. The objectives are to (1) assess improvements in children's conflict resolution abilities, (2) evaluate the integration of conflict resolution activities in early childhood education curricula, and (3) examine changes in children's behavior and social interactions. A survey design is employed to gather comprehensive data on the role of early childhood education in conflict resolution. A purposive sample of 120 children from preschools in Anambra State was used. The case study focuses on a preschool known for its emphasis on conflict resolution activities. Findings revealed significant improvements in children's conflict resolution abilities, the effectiveness of conflict resolution activities, and positive changes in children's behavior and social interactions. Recommendations included integrating conflict resolution activities into early childhood curricula and providing ongoing professional development for educators to enhance children's conflict resolution skills.
