ABSTRACT: The role of early childhood education in developing teamwork skills is essential for understanding how early educational experiences promote collaboration and cooperative learning. This study investigates how early childhood education programs contribute to developing teamwork skills. The objectives are to (1) assess improvements in children's ability to work collaboratively, (2) evaluate the integration of teamwork activities in early childhood education curricula, and (3) examine changes in children's social interactions and group dynamics. A survey design is justified as it enables detailed data collection on educational impacts on teamwork skills. A purposive sample of 120 children from preschools in Niger State was used. The case study focuses on a preschool known for its emphasis on collaborative learning. Findings indicated significant improvements in children's ability to work collaboratively, the effectiveness of teamwork activities, and positive changes in social interactions and group dynamics. Recommendations included integrating teamwork activities into early childhood curricula and providing ongoing professional development for educators to support children's teamwork skills.
