ABSTRACT: The role of technology in early childhood education is crucial for understanding how digital tools and resources enhance learning experiences. This study investigates how technology integration in early childhood education programs impacts learning outcomes. The objectives are to (1) assess improvements in children's digital literacy and technological skills, (2) evaluate the integration of technology-based activities in early childhood education curricula, and (3) examine changes in engagement and learning outcomes. A survey design is employed to systematically collect data on the impacts of technology in early childhood education. A purposive sample of 100 children  from preschools in Lagos State was used. The case study focuses on a preschool known for its innovative use of technology in teaching. Findings revealed significant improvements in children's digital literacy and technological skills, the effectiveness of technology-based activities, and positive changes in engagement and learning outcomes. Recommendations included integrating technology-based activities into early childhood curricula and providing ongoing professional development for educators to effectively use technology in teaching.
