ABSTRACT: Early childhood education's influence on executive function development is critical for understanding how early educational experiences shape children's cognitive processes such as working memory, cognitive flexibility, and inhibitory control. This study explores how early childhood education programs affect executive function development. The objectives are to (1) assess improvements in children's executive function skills, (2) evaluate the integration of executive function activities in early childhood education curricula, and (3) examine changes in problem-solving and academic performance. A survey design is justified as it enables detailed data collection on educational impacts on executive function. A purposive sample of 110 children  from preschools in Oyo State was used. The case study focuses on a preschool renowned for its cognitive development programs. Findings indicated significant improvements in children's executive function skills, the effectiveness of executive function activities, and positive changes in problem-solving and academic performance. Recommendations included integrating executive function activities into early childhood curricula and training educators to support children's cognitive development.
