ABSTRACT: Assessing the impact of early childhood education on sustainable water management is crucial for promoting environmental stewardship and resource conservation. This study aims to evaluate how early childhood education programs contribute to sustainable water management efforts. The objectives are to (1) assess improvements in children's knowledge of water conservation practices, (2) evaluate the integration of water management activities in early childhood education curricula, and (3) examine changes in community practices towards sustainable water use. A survey design is employed to gather comprehensive data on educational impacts on water management awareness. A purposive sample of 110 children aged 4-6 years, from communities with water scarcity challenges in Kano State, ensures relevant experiences. The case study focuses on an early childhood education center known for its initiatives in environmental education. Findings revealed significant improvements in children's knowledge of water conservation practices, effectiveness of water management education activities, and positive changes in community practices towards sustainable water use. Recommendations include integrating water management education into early childhood curricula and collaborating with local water authorities to implement water conservation initiatives.
