ABSTRACT: Assessing the role of early childhood education in promoting peacebuilding initiatives is crucial for fostering peaceful societies from a young age. This study aims to evaluate how early childhood education programs contribute to peacebuilding efforts. The objectives are to (1) assess improvements in children's conflict resolution skills and peaceful behaviors, (2) evaluate the integration of peace education activities in early childhood education curricula, and (3) examine changes in community attitudes towards peace and cooperation. A survey design is chosen to systematically collect data on educational impacts on peacebuilding. A purposive sample of 120 children aged 4-6 years, engaged in peace education programs in Kaduna State, ensures relevant experiences. The case study focuses on an early childhood education center known for its peacebuilding initiatives. Findings revealed significant improvements in children's conflict resolution skills and peaceful behaviors, effectiveness of peace education activities, and positive changes in community attitudes towards peace. Recommendations include integrating peace education into early childhood curricula and providing training for educators to effectively teach peacebuilding skills and values.
