ABSTRACT: The effects of early childhood education on children's rights advocacy are crucial for promoting awareness and advocacy from a young age. This study aimed to evaluate how early childhood education programs influence children's understanding and advocacy for their rights. The objectives were to (1) assess improvements in children's knowledge of rights and responsibilities, (2) evaluate the integration of rights-based activities in the curriculum, and (3) examine changes in children's attitudes towards advocacy and social justice. A survey design was employed to gather comprehensive data from participants, providing a broad assessment of the topic. A purposive sample of 120 children aged 4-6 years, engaged in rights advocacy education programs, was selected to ensure relevant experiences. The case study focused on an early childhood education center in Kwara State, known for its rights-based education initiatives. Findings indicated significant improvements in children's knowledge of rights and responsibilities, the effectiveness of rights advocacy activities, and positive changes in attitudes towards advocacy and social justice. The study recommended integrating rights advocacy education into early childhood curricula and providing opportunities for children to participate in advocacy activities within their communities.
