ABSTRACT: The role of early childhood education in promoting ethical decision-making is vital for developing morally responsible individuals. This study aimed to evaluate how early childhood education programs influence children's ethical decision-making skills. The objectives were to (1) assess improvements in children's understanding of ethical principles, (2) evaluate the integration of ethical decision-making activities into the curriculum, and (3) examine changes in children's behavior in ethical dilemmas. A survey design was chosen to systematically collect data from participants, providing a comprehensive understanding of the topic. A purposive sample of 100 children aged 4-6 years, engaged in ethics education programs, was selected to ensure relevant experiences. The case study focused on an early childhood education center in Imo State, known for its ethics education initiatives. Findings indicated significant improvements in children's understanding of ethical principles, the effectiveness of ethical decision-making activities, and positive changes in behavior in ethical dilemmas. The study recommended integrating ethical decision-making education into early childhood curricula and providing training for educators to effectively teach these skills.
