ABSTRACT: Exploring the impact of early childhood education on community cohesion is crucial for building strong, unified communities. This study aimed to evaluate how early childhood education programs influence community cohesion through children's participation. The objectives were to (1) assess improvements in children's sense of belonging, (2) evaluate the role of community-based activities in the curriculum, and (3) examine changes in community involvement and support. A survey design was employed to gather comprehensive data from participants, allowing for a broad assessment of the topic. A purposive sample of 130 children aged 4-6 years, engaged in community-based education programs, was selected to ensure relevant experiences. The case study focused on an early childhood education center in Ogun State, known for its community engagement initiatives. Findings indicated significant improvements in children's sense of belonging, the effectiveness of community-based activities, and enhanced community involvement and support. The study recommended integrating community cohesion themes into early childhood curricula and providing training for educators to facilitate these activities effectively.
