ABSTRACT: The role of early childhood education in fostering intergenerational relationships is crucial for building cohesive communities. This study aimed to evaluate how early childhood education programs facilitate intergenerational bonding and understanding. The objectives were to (1) assess children's interactions with older adults, (2) evaluate the integration of intergenerational activities into the curriculum, and (3) examine changes in children's attitudes towards older generations. A survey design was chosen to systematically collect data from participants, providing a comprehensive understanding of the topic. A purposive sample of 100 children aged 4-6 years, engaged in intergenerational education programs, was selected to ensure relevant experiences. The case study focused on an early childhood education center in Anambra State, known for its community-oriented programs. Findings revealed significant improvements in children's interactions with older adults, effective integration of intergenerational activities, and positive changes in attitudes towards older generations. The study recommended incorporating intergenerational activities into early childhood curricula and providing training for educators to facilitate these programs effectively.
