ABSTRACT: Assessing the impact of early childhood education on healthcare access is crucial for understanding its broader societal benefits. This study aimed to evaluate how early childhood education programs influence healthcare access for young children. The objectives were to (1) assess improvements in parents' knowledge about healthcare services, (2) evaluate the role of educational programs in promoting healthcare access, and (3) examine changes in healthcare-seeking behaviors. A survey design was employed to gather comprehensive data from participants. A purposive sample of 120 parents with children aged 3-6 years, attending early childhood education centers, was selected from an education center in Anambra State. Findings indicated significant improvements in parents' knowledge about healthcare services, positive changes in healthcare-seeking behaviors, and increased access to healthcare services for children. The study recommended integrating healthcare education into parent-teacher meetings and providing resources to support informed healthcare decisions.
