ABSTRACT: This study explored the Benefits of Early Childhood Education on Community Resilience. The objectives of this study were to: (1) explore the benefits of early childhood education (ECE) programs in fostering community resilience and preparedness, (2) assess the effectiveness of resilience-building activities in promoting coping strategies and community cohesion, and (3) determine the long-term impacts of resilience education on community recovery and sustainability. A survey research design was justified to gather comprehensive data from educators, parents, and community leaders about their experiences with resilience education in ECE settings. A sample size of 170 participants, including preschool teachers, parents, and community resilience experts, was selected using purposive sampling to include representation from diverse communities in Kogi State, Nigeria. The case study was conducted in early childhood education centers known for their proactive approaches to teaching resilience skills and disaster preparedness. Findings revealed that ECE programs significantly enhanced children's and community resilience, fostering skills in teamwork, adaptability, and crisis management. It is recommended that early childhood education centers continue to integrate resilience education into their curricula, collaborate with local emergency response agencies, and engage communities in resilience-building initiatives to enhance community preparedness and sustainability.
