ABSTRACT: This study assessed the Impact of Early Childhood Education on Technology Adoption Rates. The objectives of this study were to: (1) assess the impact of early childhood education (ECE) programs on technology adoption rates among young children and their families, (2) investigate the effectiveness of technology integration in ECE curricula in promoting digital literacy and innovation, and (3) determine the long-term effects of technology education on educational outcomes and technological advancement. A survey research design was justified to collect detailed data from educators, parents, and technology experts about their experiences with technology adoption in ECE settings. A sample size of 170 participants, including preschool teachers, parents, and technology professionals, was selected using purposive sampling to ensure representation from urban and rural communities in Bayelsa State, Nigeria. The case study was conducted in early childhood education centers known for their advanced technology infrastructure and commitment to digital learning. Findings revealed that ECE programs significantly increased children's and families' technology adoption rates, fostering skills in digital literacy, problem-solving, and creativity. It is recommended that early childhood education centers continue to integrate technology education into their curricula, provide access to age-appropriate technology resources, and offer parental education on digital literacy to support children's technological development effectively.
