ABSTRACT: This study explored the Effects of Early Childhood Education on Social Justice Advocacy. The objectives of this study were to: (1) evaluate the impact of early childhood education (ECE) programs on fostering awareness of social justice issues among young children, (2) assess the effectiveness of social justice education activities in promoting empathy and advocacy skills, and (3) determine the long-term benefits of early social justice education on civic engagement. A survey design was chosen to gather comprehensive data from educators, parents, and children about their experiences with social justice education in ECE settings. A sample size of 160 participants, including preschool teachers, parents, and children aged 4-6, was selected using purposive sampling. The case study was conducted in early childhood education centers in Enugu State, Nigeria, known for its emphasis on social justice education and community activism. Findings indicated that ECE programs significantly enhanced children's awareness of social justice issues and promoted empathy and advocacy skills from an early age. It was recommended that early childhood education centers integrate social justice education into their curricula and provide training for educators to effectively facilitate these discussions.
