ABSTRACT: This study Investigated the Benefits of Early Childhood Coding Programs on Logical Thinking. The objectives of this study were to: (1) evaluate the impact of early childhood coding programs on developing logical thinking skills, (2) assess the role of coding activities in enhancing problem-solving abilities, and (3) determine the long-term benefits of early coding education on cognitive development. A survey design was employed to collect detailed data from educators, parents, and children about their experiences with coding activities in ECE. A sample size of 140 participants, including preschool teachers, parents, and children aged 4-6, was selected through purposive sampling. The case study was conducted in early childhood education centers in Ogun State, Nigeria, recognized for its emphasis on STEM education. Findings indicated that early childhood coding programs significantly improved logical thinking and problem-solving skills, with long-term benefits on cognitive development. It was recommended that early childhood education centers incorporate coding activities into their curricula and provide training for educators to effectively facilitate logical thinking skills.
