ABSTRACT: This study Assessed the Benefits of Early Childhood Education in Refugee Camps. The objectives of this study were to: (1) evaluate the impact of early childhood education (ECE) on the well-being of children in refugee camps, (2) assess the role of ECE programs in promoting emotional resilience, and (3) determine the long-term benefits of ECE on academic and social outcomes for refugee children. A survey design was chosen for this research to collect detailed data from educators, parents, and children about their experiences with ECE in refugee camps. A sample size of 150 participants, including preschool teachers, parents, and children aged 4-6, was selected using purposive sampling. The case study was conducted in refugee camps in Borno State, Nigeria, given its significant refugee population and focus on humanitarian education. Findings indicated that ECE programs significantly improved the well-being of children, promoted emotional resilience, and led to better academic and social outcomes for refugee children. It was recommended that early childhood education centers in refugee camps expand access to ECE programs and provide support for educators to enhance the well-being of refugee children.
