ABSTRACT: This study Explored the Benefits of Virtual Reality in Early Childhood Education. The objectives of this study were to: (1) evaluate the impact of virtual reality (VR) on enhancing learning experiences in early childhood education (ECE), (2) assess the role of VR in improving engagement and motivation among young learners, and (3) determine the effectiveness of VR in supporting diverse learning needs. A survey design was employed to gather comprehensive data from educators, parents, and children about their experiences with VR in ECE settings. A sample size of 150 participants, including preschool teachers, parents, and children aged 4-6, was selected using the purposive sampling technique. The case study was conducted in early childhood education centers in Ogun State, Nigeria, given its advancements in educational technology and innovation. Findings indicated that VR significantly enhanced learning experiences, increased engagement and motivation, and supported diverse learning needs among young children. It was recommended that early childhood education centers integrate VR into their curricula and provide training for educators to effectively utilize this technology to enhance learning outcomes.
