ABSTRACT: This study examined the benefits of early childhood nutrition education programs. The objectives were to: (1) evaluate the impact of nutrition education on children's dietary habits, (2) assess the role of these programs in preventing malnutrition, and (3) determine the long-term benefits of nutrition education on health outcomes. A survey design was chosen to collect data from educators, parents, and nutritionists about their experiences with nutrition education programs. A sample size of 150 participants was selected through purposive sampling. The case study was conducted in early childhood education centers in Ebonyi State, Nigeria. Findings revealed that nutrition education programs significantly improved children's dietary habits, prevented malnutrition, and promoted positive health outcomes. It was recommended that early childhood education programs integrate comprehensive nutrition education and provide training for educators and nutritionists to effectively deliver these programs to support children's health and well-being.
