ABSTRACT: This research investigated the benefits of early childhood music programs on neurological development. The objectives were to: (1) evaluate the impact of music activities on cognitive functions, (2) assess the role of music in enhancing memory and attention spans, and (3) determine the effectiveness of music programs in improving language skills. A survey design was chosen to collect comprehensive data from educators and parents about their experiences with early childhood music programs. A sample size of 160 preschool educators and parents was selected through purposive sampling. The case study was conducted in early childhood education centers in Anambra State, Nigeria. Findings revealed that music activities significantly enhanced cognitive functions, improved memory and attention spans, and were highly effective in developing language skills. It was recommended that early childhood education programs integrate structured music activities into their curricula and that educators receive training in implementing music-based learning to support neurological development.
