Abstract: This study investigates the pivotal role of early childhood education (ECE) in fostering resilience among Nigerian children. The objective is to examine how ECE programs contribute to emotional regulation, coping skills, and adaptive behaviors in the face of adversity. A survey research design is employed to gather data from ECE educators, psychologists, and social workers across Ebonyi State. A purposive sample of 200 participants is selected based on their expertise in resilience-building strategies and child development. Findings reveal that supportive relationships, structured play activities, and inclusive learning environments in ECE settings enhance children's resilience factors, including self-confidence, problem-solving abilities, and positive social interactions. Recommendations highlight the integration of resilience-focused curricula, trauma-informed practices, and community partnerships to support holistic development and emotional well-being in early childhood.
