Abstract: This research investigates strategies to support gifted and talented children within early childhood education (ECE) programs. The objective is to identify effective practices for identifying, nurturing, and challenging young gifted learners. A survey research design is employed to gather data from 150 educators and parents of gifted children in Cross River State, using purposive sampling to represent diverse educational backgrounds and gifted identification methods. Findings indicate that differentiated instruction, enrichment activities, and mentorship programs tailored to individual strengths are critical in fostering the academic and socio-emotional growth of gifted children in ECE settings. Recommendations include professional development for educators in gifted education strategies, collaborative partnerships with parents, and advocacy for inclusive policies that recognize and support the diverse needs of gifted learners.
