Abstract: This study investigates the impact of educational toys and materials in enhancing early childhood learning experiences in Nigeria. Objectives include assessing the impact of toy diversity and accessibility on cognitive development, exploring educators' perspectives on toy integration in ECE settings, and evaluating outcomes on children's learning engagement and academic readiness. Employing a survey research design, data will be collected from ECE educators, parents, and educational toy developers in Enugu State. The sample size of 200, derived using Taro Yamane's formula, ensures robust representation and statistical validity. A case study of ECE centers with innovative toy and material usage will provide detailed insights into effective practices. The reliability coefficient score of 0.75 ensure data consistency. Findings demonstrated the benefits of educational toys in ECE, offering implications for curriculum enrichment and teacher training. Recommendations emphasized promoting toy diversity, enhancing play-based learning environments, and fostering educational partnerships to support learning through play in Nigerian early childhood education.
