Abstract: This study investigates the role of art and creativity in enhancing early childhood education (ECE) experiences in Nigeria, focusing on their impact on children's cognitive, emotional, and social development. Objectives include assessing the effectiveness of art-integrated learning approaches, exploring educators' perspectives on creativity in ECE, and evaluating outcomes on children's creativity and self-expression. Employing a survey research design, data will be collected from ECE educators, artists, and child psychologists in Portharcourt, Rivers State. The sample size of 350, derived using Taro Yamane's formula, ensures robust representation and statistical validity. A case study of ECE centers with exemplary arts programs will provide detailed insights into effective practices. The reliability coefficient score of 0.75 ensured data accuracy and consistency. Findings demonstrated the benefits of art and creativity in ECE, offering implications for curriculum enrichment and teacher training. Recommendations emphasized integrating arts into the curriculum, fostering creativity-enhancing environments, and supporting cultural expressions in Nigerian early childhood education.
