Abstract: This study investigates strategies for developing resilience in early childhood education (ECE) programs across Nigeria. The objectives are to explore resilience-building practices, assess their impact on socio-emotional development and coping skills, and propose guidelines for integrating resilience education into ECE curricula. Using a qualitative survey research design, this study justifies its approach by gathering insights from educators, child psychologists, and resilience experts through in-depth interviews and focus groups. A purposive sample size of 250 participants ensures representation from diverse socio-economic backgrounds and geographic regions, reflecting Nigeria's cultural diversity. Plateau State is selected as the case study location, known for its resilience-building initiatives and community engagement in ECE. The reliability coefficient score will ensure data validity and reliability across qualitative data analysis. Findings are expected to inform curriculum development and teacher training programs that promote resilience among young children, supporting their ability to adapt and thrive in diverse contexts within Nigerian ECE settings.
