ABSTRACT: Developing vocational education curricula for green building technology is essential for preparing students to meet the demands of sustainable construction practices. This study aimed to design effective vocational curricula for green building technology, assess their impact on student skills and competencies, and evaluate overall student satisfaction with the training. A survey design was selected to gather comprehensive data from participants in green building technology training. The sample size included 180 students from various technical institutions specializing in construction and environmental studies. Purposive sampling was used to select participants with a background in construction education. The case study was conducted at the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. Findings revealed that the new curricula significantly enhanced students' understanding of sustainable building practices, improved their skills in green construction techniques, and provided hands-on experience with eco-friendly materials and technologies. Students expressed high levels of satisfaction with the curricula, noting its relevance and practical applications. It was recommended that vocational training institutions continuously update their green building curricula to incorporate the latest sustainable technologies and foster partnerships with the construction industry to ensure the training remains current and impactful.
