ABSTRACT: Developing vocational training programs for cybersecurity in healthcare is vital for protecting sensitive patient data and ensuring the integrity of healthcare systems. This study aimed to design effective vocational training programs for healthcare cybersecurity, assess their impact on student skills, and evaluate student satisfaction with the training. A survey design was chosen to gather comprehensive data from participants. The sample size included 150 students enrolled in cybersecurity vocational programs. Purposive sampling was used to select participants with relevant experience in cybersecurity and healthcare education. The case study was conducted at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Enugu State, Nigeria. Findings indicated that vocational education significantly enhanced students' technical skills in cybersecurity practices, improved their understanding of healthcare data protection, and increased their awareness of regulatory compliance. Students expressed high levels of satisfaction with the curriculum, noting its relevance and practical applications. It was recommended that vocational training institutions expand their focus on healthcare cybersecurity and provide ongoing professional development for instructors to stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and solutions.
