ABSTRACT: Integrating renewable energy systems into vocational training curricula is critical for preparing students to meet the growing demand for sustainable energy solutions. This study aimed to evaluate how vocational training programs incorporate renewable energy systems, identify the specific skills and knowledge areas developed, and assess student satisfaction with the training. A survey design was chosen to gather comprehensive data from participants. The sample size included 200 students enrolled in renewable energy vocational programs. Purposive sampling was used to select students with relevant experience in renewable energy education. The case study was conducted at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Enugu State, Nigeria. Findings indicated that vocational education significantly enhanced students' technical skills in renewable energy technologies, increased their understanding of sustainable practices, and boosted their employability in the renewable energy sector. Students expressed high levels of satisfaction with the curriculum, noting its relevance and practical applications. It was recommended that vocational training institutions expand their renewable energy programs and establish partnerships with industry stakeholders to ensure curriculum relevance and job placement opportunities.
