ABSTRACT: Innovations in vocational education for space technology careers are essential for equipping the next generation of professionals with the skills required for the rapidly evolving aerospace industry. This study aimed to identify effective innovations in vocational training that enhance career readiness in space technology, assess the impact of these innovations on student skills, and evaluate overall student satisfaction with the educational programs. A survey design was selected to gather extensive data from participants involved in space technology vocational training. The sample size included 150 students from various vocational training institutes. Purposive sampling ensured that participants had relevant experience with space technology education. The case study was conducted at the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria. Findings revealed that innovative training methods, such as virtual simulations, project-based learning, and industry collaborations, significantly improved students' technical skills and problem-solving abilities. Students reported high levels of satisfaction with the curriculum, noting the relevance and applicability to real-world space technology challenges. It was recommended that vocational training institutions continuously integrate cutting-edge technologies and foster partnerships with space industry stakeholders to keep pace with advancements in the field.
