ABSTRACT: The impact of 3D printing technology on vocational education in manufacturing is transformative, offering new avenues for skill development and innovation. This study aimed to evaluate the influence of 3D printing technology on vocational training outcomes, identify the specific skills enhanced by this technology, and assess student satisfaction with 3D printing-focused curricula. A survey design was employed to collect detailed data from participants. The sample size included 200 students enrolled in manufacturing vocational programs that integrated 3D printing technology. Purposive sampling ensured the selection of students with direct experience in 3D printing. The case study was conducted at the Kaduna Polytechnic, Kaduna State, Nigeria. The findings indicated that 3D printing technology significantly enhanced students' technical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. Students expressed high satisfaction with the inclusion of 3D printing in their training, noting its relevance and the opportunities for hands-on learning. It was recommended that vocational education institutions expand their 3D printing modules and invest in up-to-date equipment to facilitate advanced learning.
