ABSTRACT: Addressing Technological Infrastructure Challenges in Vocational Schools examines strategies to overcome technological barriers that hinder effective teaching and learning in vocational education. This study investigates the current state of technological infrastructure in vocational schools and explores solutions to enhance access to digital resources and tools. The objectives were: to identify key technological challenges faced by vocational schools in Nigeria, to assess the impact of inadequate technological infrastructure on teaching quality and student outcomes, and to propose recommendations for improving technological readiness in vocational education. A survey design was employed to collect detailed data from administrators, educators, and students in vocational schools, providing insights into infrastructure gaps and their implications. A sample size of 300 respondents was chosen using a purposive sampling technique to include participants with direct experience in managing and using educational technologies. The case study focused on the Government Technical College, Ikorodu, Lagos State. Findings indicated significant challenges with outdated equipment, limited internet connectivity, and inadequate technical support, impacting instructional delivery and student engagement. It is recommended that vocational schools should prioritize investment in modern technology infrastructure, establish partnerships with tech companies for equipment donations and training, and develop a sustainable technology integration plan aligned with educational goals to enhance teaching effectiveness and student learning experiences.
