ABSTRACT: Strategies for Promoting Resilience and Adaptability in Vocational Education examines approaches to developing resilience and adaptability skills among vocational students to navigate challenges in dynamic work environments. This study investigates strategies and educational interventions that foster resilience, flexibility, and agility in vocational training programs. The objectives were: to assess current practices and challenges in promoting resilience and adaptability in vocational education, to identify effective strategies for integrating resilience training into vocational curricula, and to propose recommendations for enhancing student readiness for unpredictable career paths. A survey design was chosen to gather detailed data from vocational educators, students, and career counselors, providing insights into resilience-building practices and their impact on student outcomes. A sample size of 300 respondents was selected using a purposive sampling technique to include participants with experience in resilience training and vocational education. The case study focused on the Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, Lagos State. Findings indicated that resilience-building programs enhanced students' coping mechanisms, problem-solving skills, and ability to navigate career challenges effectively. It was recommended that vocational institutions should integrate resilience workshops, mentorship programs, and experiential learning opportunities into curricula, provide mental health support services, and foster a culture of adaptability and continuous learning to prepare students for diverse career pathways in rapidly changing industries.
