ABSTRACT: Strategies for Enhancing Vocational Education for Adult Learners explores effective approaches to meeting the educational needs and aspirations of adult learners within vocational training programs. This study aims to identify strategies that promote accessibility, flexibility, and relevance in adult vocational education. The objectives were: to assess the current provision of vocational education for adult learners, to evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs in meeting adult learners' needs, and to propose recommendations for enhancing adult vocational education. A survey design was employed to gather comprehensive data from adult learners, educators, and policymakers, providing insights into adult education practices and challenges. A sample size of 250 respondents was selected using a purposive sampling technique to include adult learners currently enrolled in vocational programs. The case study focused on the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State. Findings indicated that while vocational programs for adults existed, they often lacked flexibility and targeted support, hindering adult learners' engagement and completion rates. It was recommended that vocational institutions should offer evening and weekend classes, recognize prior learning through credit transfer mechanisms, and provide career counseling tailored to adult learners' needs to enhance their educational experience and outcomes.
