ABSTRACT: Addressing Socio-Economic Disparities in Vocational Education Outcomes investigates the factors contributing to unequal educational outcomes among socio-economically diverse groups in vocational education. This study aims to identify disparities in access, achievement, and employment outcomes and explore strategies for reducing these gaps. The objectives were: to analyze socio-economic disparities in enrollment and completion rates in vocational programs, to assess the impact of socio-economic factors on academic performance and career prospects, and to propose interventions to promote equity and inclusion in vocational education. A survey design was employed to collect detailed data from students, educators, and community stakeholders, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of socio-economic disparities. A sample size of 250 respondents was selected using a purposive sampling technique to include participants from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. The case study focused on the Federal College of Agriculture, Moor Plantation, Ibadan, Oyo State. Findings indicated significant disparities in access to vocational education based on socio-economic status, affecting academic achievement and post-graduation outcomes. It was recommended that vocational institutions should implement targeted support programs for disadvantaged students, provide financial assistance and mentorship, and foster inclusive policies to mitigate socio-economic barriers.
