ABSTRACT: The Impact of Digital Transformation on Vocational Training Methodologies investigates how advancements in digital technologies reshape teaching and learning approaches in vocational education. This study explores the influence of digital transformation on curriculum design, instructional methods, and learning outcomes within vocational training programs. The objectives were: to assess the extent of digital technology integration in vocational training methodologies, to analyze the impact of digital transformation on student engagement and skill development, and to identify challenges and opportunities associated with digitalization in vocational education. A survey research design was chosen to gather data from vocational educators, administrators, and students, providing insights into current practices and perceptions related to digital transformation. A sample size of 250 respondents was purposively selected to include stakeholders from technical colleges and vocational training centers in Oyo State, Nigeria, known for their progressive adoption of digital learning technologies. The case study focused on a vocational institution in Ibadan, highlighting successful implementations of digital tools and their impact on training methodologies. Findings indicated that digital transformation enhanced access to learning resources, improved instructional delivery, and increased student motivation in vocational settings. It is recommended that vocational institutions should invest in infrastructure for digital learning, provide training for educators on digital tools, ensure equitable access to technology, and continuously evaluate the effectiveness of digital strategies to optimize vocational training methodologies in the digital age.
