ABSTRACT: The Impact of Digital Literacy on Vocational Career Pathways examines how digital literacy influences career trajectories within vocational education. This study investigates the role of digital skills in enhancing job readiness, employability, and career advancement among vocational graduates. The objectives were: to assess the current level of digital literacy among vocational students and educators, to analyze the impact of digital skills on vocational career pathways and job placement, and to identify barriers and opportunities for improving digital literacy in vocational education. A survey design was chosen to gather comprehensive data from vocational students, educators, and employers, providing insights into digital literacy competencies and their relevance to career outcomes. A sample size of 250 respondents was selected using a purposive sampling technique to include participants with varying levels of digital proficiency and vocational experiences. The case study focused on the Federal College of Education (Technical), Akoka, Lagos State. Findings indicated that higher digital literacy levels correlated with increased employability and career advancement opportunities in vocational sectors embracing digital transformation. It was recommended that vocational institutions should integrate digital literacy courses into core curricula, provide hands-on training with digital tools and technologies, and collaborate with industry partners to align training with digital skills demanded by the job market.
