ABSTRACT: The Role of Ethical Education in Vocational Training Programs explores the integration of ethical principles into vocational education to cultivate moral reasoning and professional integrity among students. This study investigates the impact of ethical education on decision-making, workplace behavior, and industry reputation. The objectives were: to assess the current incorporation of ethical education in vocational training programs, to evaluate its effectiveness in fostering ethical awareness and behavior, and to propose strategies for enhancing ethical education in vocational curricula. A survey design was utilized to gather comprehensive data from educators, students, and industry professionals, providing insights into ethical education practices. A sample size of 200 respondents was chosen using a purposive sampling technique to include participants familiar with ethical dilemmas in vocational settings. The case study focused on the Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology, Victoria Island, Lagos State. Findings indicated that while ethical education was recognized as important, its integration into vocational curricula varied, impacting students' ethical awareness and professional conduct. It was recommended that vocational institutions should incorporate ethics courses into core curricula, provide training for educators on ethical teaching methodologies, and collaborate with industry to emphasize ethical standards in vocational training.
