ABSTRACT: Innovations in Integrating STEM Education into Vocational Programs are vital for preparing students for the demands of modern industries. This study examined the methods and effectiveness of integrating Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education into vocational training. The objectives were: to assess the current integration of STEM subjects into vocational programs, to evaluate the impact of STEM integration on student learning and career readiness, and to propose innovative strategies for enhancing STEM education in vocational training. A survey design was employed to gather comprehensive data from students, educators, and industry partners, enabling a detailed analysis of the integration process. A sample size of 300 respondents was selected using a purposive sampling technique to include participants with experience in both STEM and vocational education. The case study focused on the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State. Findings revealed that integrating STEM education into vocational programs significantly improved student engagement, understanding of technical subjects, and readiness for STEM-related careers. It was recommended that vocational institutions should adopt innovative teaching methods, provide professional development for educators in STEM integration, and foster partnerships with STEM-focused organizations and industries.
