ABSTRACT: The Role of Community Colleges in Vocational Education Pathways is pivotal for providing accessible and flexible education options. This study explored the contributions of community colleges to vocational education pathways and their impact on student success. The objectives were: to assess the role of community colleges in providing vocational education, to evaluate their impact on student career readiness and employability, and to identify challenges and best practices in community college vocational programs. A survey design was employed to collect extensive data from students, educators, and industry partners, enabling a comprehensive understanding of the role of community colleges. A sample size of 300 respondents was selected using a purposive sampling technique to ensure participants with relevant experience were included. The case study focused on the Kaduna Polytechnic, Kaduna State. Findings revealed that community colleges played a crucial role in providing accessible vocational education, enhancing career readiness, and improving employability. However, challenges such as limited resources and outdated equipment were noted. It was recommended that community colleges should invest in modernizing their facilities, establish strong industry partnerships, and provide continuous professional development for educators to enhance the effectiveness of their vocational programs.
