ABSTRACT: Addressing Ethical Considerations in Vocational Education Research is essential for maintaining integrity and trust in academic and professional communities. This study explored the ethical challenges and considerations specific to vocational education research. The objectives were: to identify common ethical issues in vocational education research, to evaluate the impact of these issues on research outcomes and stakeholder trust, and to propose best practices for ethical research conduct. A survey design was chosen to gather detailed data from researchers, educators, and students, providing a comprehensive understanding of ethical concerns. A sample size of 250 respondents was selected using a purposive sampling technique to ensure participants had experience or interest in vocational education research. The case study was the University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos State. Findings revealed that ethical issues such as informed consent, data privacy, and researcher bias were prevalent and impacted the validity and credibility of research. It was recommended that institutions should establish clear ethical guidelines, provide training on ethical research practices, and create oversight mechanisms to ensure compliance and foster a culture of integrity.
